A. Principal Duties and Tasks
▪ Leading the Central sales team to achieve the annual budgeted Direct (project) sales turnover
and profitability
▪ Development of new projects sales with the support of the Vertical Market Manager (VMM),
Business Development Manager (BDM) & Technical Service Team.
▪ Develop new customer base in the region
▪ Establish main contractors and developers’ network in the region
▪ Implementation of regional sales and marketing objectives for the customer groups, jointly
with the VMMs, BDMs and Head of Building Systems
▪ Provision of necessary regional customer, product & market information as directed by the
VMM and BDM and the Head of Building Systems to enable the necessary regional support
requirements to be realised.
▪ Management and development customer relationship of designated global & regional key
account customers, coordinated with the Key Account Manager (KAM) & Key Project
Manager (KPM).
▪ Effectively respond to market conditions & customer requirements.
▪ Work effectively together with other team members to ensure maintenance and
development of customer relationships which cross geographical boundaries.
▪ Record daily activities in a timely fashion within the company Salesforce database.
B. Planning
▪ Provide the necessary sales and market input for the Annual Budget
▪ Communicate product requirements (Min/Max forecast) to TMM to ensure the timely
availability of product.
▪ Assist in the execute market studies under the direction of the TMMS & Marketing
Department.
C. Marketing and Sales
▪ Work with the VMM, BDM and Head of Building Systems to achieve their specific customer
group or target market sales objectives in relation to their budgets.
▪ Prepare with Head of Building Systems and implement an appropriate sales plan.
▪ Timely collection of all overdue monies from customer accounts.
D. Others
Perform any other related tasks as requested.
E. Security
▪ Maintain Sika information with appropriate secrecy and adhere to policies regarding
confidential information; and
▪ Maintain confidentiality of formulation at all times.
F. Limitations of Authority
No purchase of equipment and / or material without approval from Head of Sales , GM and MoA
Min. Degree with experience in Engineering, Construction or Construction material is preferable.
Master degree would be an added advantage
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a similar industry.
▪ Excellent computer skills including power point presentation, excel spreadsheet and Words
applications;
▪ Strong organisation and communication skills;
▪ Able to work independently and in a team environment;
▪ Able to travel when required;
▪ Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia; ability to communicate in Mandarin
and/or local dialects would be an added advantage;
▪ Strong inter-personal skill.

In Malaysia, our Industry Division is the clear market leader in the automotive glass replacement sector (AGR) and the “Sikaflex” brand is instantly recognized as a mark for quality, reliability and performance. In the automotive OEM sector, we are the approved supplier to top German car markets such as Mercedes Benz and BMW. Meanwhile, Sika leads the field in total bonding, sealing, damping, reinforcing and protection solutions for bus, truck and rail vehicle manufacturing, and for the assembly of appliances, industrial equipment and building components.
Sika Kimia Sdn Bhd currently employs more than 340 people in Sales & Marketing, Technical Service, Finance, HR & Administration, Laboratory, Production, Purchasing, Customer Service and Warehouse.
